Q: Is there a quick and easy way to find staff without disturbing patients?
A: Yes, it is the Tracer IV. Combined with the power of the Responder IV Tracer IV makes it easy to find personnel quickly and target communications to their location. After logging onto the system and attaching a small lightweight transmitter to their clothing, staff members are located easily. If a staff member responds to a patient call, the system automatically cancels any non-emergency calls and registers the staff member in the patient.

Q: Do you have a self-reporting check-in for residents?
A: Yes, the Responder 4000 has a Resident Check-in panel that features a flashing light "reminder" for residents to check in at the designated time. If a resident fails to report, a call is directed to the console, alerting staff to call or visit the resident.

Q: Is there an effective way to locate equipment throughout our facility?
A: Yes, the Tracer IV Asset Tracking System. Simply attach a small, Tracer IV transmitter tag to the key equipment you already own. The tag emits an infrared signal that enables the system to record the equipment's real-time location and identify it as well. The system also generates Equipment Location Reports to assist in the scheduling of preventive equipment maintenance and analyzing equipment utilization.

Q: How can digital and Web-based content blend with the traditional content sources available in school learning centers?
A: Telecenter IP enriches the learning experience by bringing multimedia to the classroom The system allows teachers and students to access media available within their school or throughout their district as part of a multimedia lesson plan. The lesson plan can include any combination of digital videos, PowerPoint® presentations, DVDs, laserdiscs and video tapes.

Q: Can you use Machine Readable Cataloging (MARC) with Telecenter IP.
A: Yes, even legacy catalogs such as those found in Machine Readable Cataloging (MARC) format or plain text files can be readily accessed with Telecenter IP. Telecenter IP lets you inventory and catalog all of your multimedia resources in a single, centralized database. Telecenter IP employs a standard SQL database accessed through familiar ODBC interfaces.
